Red Cross Training
Your American Red Cross is the nationally recognized expert in first aid, water safety and disaster response. For nearly a century, Americans have counted on the Red Cross for the information, skills and the training they need to be safe at home, work, school and play. Our trained and certified instructors can help you save lives and meet special job requirements. Learn how you can prepare for disasters and other emergencies. Health and Safety Training Options
First Aid/ CPR/AED. Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses. Learn how to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies until advanced medical personnel arrive.
Lifeguard/Water Safety. Millions of people each year turn to the Red Cross for expert training in Lifeguarding and Water Safety.
HIV/AIDS. The American Red Cross educates people on how to stop the transmission of HIV, encourages people to respond in informed ways to people who have HIV, and helps people apply the facts about HIV to their own behavior.
Babysitter’s Training. Participants in this fun, interactive program learn how to make good responsible decisions and keep children in their care safe.
Disaster Preparedness and Response. Free information / presentations to help the community prepare for disasters. Advanced training for Red Cross disaster volunteers.
Become an Instructor. We certify instructors in First Aid/CPR/AED, Water Safety (WSI), Lifeguard Training, Babysitter’s Training, Disaster Response, and HIV/Aids Education & Prevention.
Red Cross Training for Your Workplace. We provide training on safety and health topics, including emergency preparedness, disease prevention and first aid in the workplace.
