Volunteer Orientations
Red Cross New Employee and Volunteer Orientations (NEVO) teach about vital Red Cross programs, services, and ways you can help, as well as:
• How the American Red Cross was founded
• How the American Red Cross of Alaska helps disaster victims, even in the most remote reaches of our huge state
• How the American Red Cross is funded
• Opportunities available as a volunteer
Orientations are held throughout the six Red Cross offices in Alaska, according to community interest and upon request. To learn more, contact the office nearest you.
